Williamstown Cricket Ground Oval Redevelopment commenced construction in mid 2020 and expect to complete construction in 2021. This $2.5m project comprises of: the redevelopment of the existing sportsground at the Williamstown Cricket Ground: and other associated works.

The scope of works for the project will generally include demolition of the existing boundary chainlink fence, demolition of the existing surface and irrigation system of the oval. Demolition and removal of an existing underground water storage tank and re-shaping and grading of the oval surface.
